Xibo Wan is a Postdoctoral Associate in the MIT Center for Energy and Environmental Policy Research with a focus on environmental and food issues. His research seeks to analyze how stakeholders respond to incentives created by environmental issues and policy interventions. He exploits large retail scanner data and incorporate modern econometric methods and empirical IO to study important questions in this domain. His work also contributes to the literature in non-market valuation of environmental improvements.

Prior to joining CEEPR, Xibo received a PhD in Economics from the Iowa State University and a BS in Business and a MA in Economics from Central University of Finance and Economics.
