Xibo Wan is a Postdoctoral Associate in Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics in University of Connecticut with a focus on environmental and food issues. His research seeks to analyze how stakeholders respond to incentives created by environmental issues and policy interventions. He exploits large retail scanner data and incorporate modern econometric methods and empirical IO to study important questions in this domain. His work also contributes to the literature in non-market valuation of environmental improvements.
Xibo received a Ph.D. in Economics from the Iowa State University and a B.S. in Business and a M.A. in Economics from Central University of Finance and Economics.
