The Roosevelt Project has completed work on four case studies of regions in the United States: Southwestern Pennsylvania, the Industrial Heartland, the Gulf Coast (Louisiana and Southeast Texas), and New Mexico—regions with highly variant economic realities that are all positioned to be impacted by the transition to deep decarbonization. The Roosevelt Project collaborated with local partners in each region to develop elements of a transition implementation plan that simultaneously moves toward a deeply decarbonized future while advancing the interests of the people and communities most at risk from that transition.
