David Villegas is a Research Assistant at the MIT Center for Energy and Environmental Policy Research and a graduate student in the System Design and Management master’s program at MIT. He holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from McGill University in Canada. Prior to CEEPR, David spent five years working in the energy industry, where he helped design, develop, and support products derived from jet engines that provide flexible power to the grid. David is interested in the deployment of technology innovations to support the clean energy transition.
