Magnus Schauf is a PhD student at the Center for Energy Markets, Technical University of Munich and was a Visiting PhD Student at MIT CEEPR in fall 2022. He is interested in energy and environmental economics as well as industrial decarbonization. Specifically, his thesis deals with drivers of technological change, for instance represented by lower prices or fewer emissions, and the roles of different actors in the energy and manufacturing sector. Magnus applies a set of econometric and statistical methods in his research. His work is published in Energy Economics.
