Robert Reese is the Lead Data Analyst and Manager of Public Sector Research for MIT Innovation Fellow Brian Deese. He works on climate change and industrial policy projects, including the Clean Investment Monitor.
Before joining MIT, Robert served as Chief of the Natural and Physical Resources Cost Estimates Unit at the Congressional Budget Office. There he oversaw the production of cost estimates for bills related to agriculture, energy, environment, transportation, and natural resources policy. Before being promoted to the chief role, Robert was a principal analyst in the same unit for over seven years where he worked on surface transportation and housing policy. He received both his B.A. and M.P.P. from the University of Virginia.
