Tooraj Jamasb is an Endowed Professor of Energy Economics and Director of Copenhagen School of Energy Infrastructure (CSEI) at Copenhagen Business School. He has previously held posts as Chair in Energy Economics at Durham University; SIRE Chair in Energy Economics at Heriot-Watt University; and Senior Research Associate at the University of Cambridge.
He is a Research Associate at Energy Policy Research Group (University of Cambridge); and Oviedo Efficiency Group (University of Oviedo). He is a member of the academic panel of the UK Energy Regulator Ofgem and Associate Editor of the Energy Strategy Reviews Journal.
He has participated in various international research and advisory projects for the European Commission (DG ENER); Council of European Energy Regulators (CEER), European energy regulators and authorities, energy companies, Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI), and The World Bank. He has co-edited the inter-disciplinary books The Future of Electricity Demand: Customers, Citizens and Loads; Delivering a Low-Carbon Electricity System; and Future Electricity Technologies and Systems; all published by Cambridge University Press.
