Reese Dobson is a Graduate Research Assistant at the MIT Center for Energy and Environmental Policy Research and is currently pursuing an S.M. in Technology and Policy. She is working on a project with Professor Christopher Knittel exploring the economics behind critical minerals for the energy transition.

Reese has a bachelor’s degree in Geophysics from Stanford University where she researched tools and uses of archival radar data from the Greenland Ice Sheet. She is interested in climate change mitigation, earth sciences, and energy affordability.
