Rohan Datta is a Graduate Research Assistant at the MIT Center for Energy and Environmental Policy Research (CEEPR) and is currently pursuing an M.S. in Technology and Policy. His research focuses on low carbon fuels and critical minerals, working with Professor Christopher Knittel and Dr. Michael Mehling.
Before coming to MIT, Rohan earned a B.S. in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. His previous research has focused on transportation electrification and the use of machine learning to design sustainable polymers and chemicals. He has also worked in process development at Albemarle and in energy consulting at Guidehouse.
