Aunjoli Das is a Northeastern ’24 co-op studying Environmental and Sustainability Sciences with a geology concentration. She has contributed significantly to the MIT CATE program by assisting with funding applications and curriculum development. She developed the LIFE! In a sustainable city module and supporting board game, which aims to teach middle and high school students about the effects of carbon pricing on low and high income populations. She represented CATE at the 2023 MOS Rise Up Climate Event with lesson demonstrations, and helped facilitate the annual Climate Action and Education conference as well as the 2023 Summer PD Workshop. She also worked with the MITEI Online Education team to develop Edx courses about clean energy technology and policy. She plans to use her valued experience at MITEI to apply for PhD programs in biogeochemistry.
