Giulia Dadamo is a Master student in Sustainable Energy Systems Engineering at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) and a visiting student at MIT CEEPR. She is conducting her Master thesis in large scale energy systems modelling. Her research examines how different policy measures can ease the pressure that the projected growth in data centers electricity demand places on the European energy system, while remaining consistent with Europe’s climate targets. The analysis uses Balmorel, a partial equilibrium energy system model. She also works at an energy consultancy company on various energy systems modelling projects using the energy model TIMES.
