Heddy Barale is a Postdoctoral Associate at the MIT Center for Energy & Environmental Policy Research. His research focuses on the economic investigation of Integrated Energy Systems (IES). The particular IES analyzed is a marine platform composed of an advanced nuclear reactor powering a hydrogen and ammonia production facility.
Before joining CEEPR, Heddy received a Ph.D. in Nuclear Physics and Engineering from CEA Cadarache in France, and an M.S. in Nuclear Engineering from Politecnico di Torino in Italy, with an internship at SCK in Belgium.
