Adam Ali is a Graduate Research Assistant at the MIT Center for Energy and Environmental Policy Research (CEEPR). His research focuses on evaluating the impact of Clean Power Procurement policies on the electric power system, specifically 24/7 Carbon Free Electricity. Currently, he is pursuing a S.M. in Technology and Policy at MIT.
Before joining CEEPR, Adam worked as a Drilling Engineer in the Energy Industry and was involved in multiple projects in the USA, UK, Norway, Australia, Malaysia, Cyprus, and Angola. Adam received the McLaughlin Medal of Excellence and the University Medal upon graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering and a minor in Business Administration from Louisiana State University.
