Colleen Coffey is pursuing an S.M. in MIT’s Technology and Policy Program while serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at the MIT Center for Energy and Environmental Policy Research (CEEPR). Her current research with Deputy Director Michael Mehling includes projects on China’s Energy Transition and Turquoise Hydrogen. Before joining MIT, Colleen worked as a Project Engineer at the U.S. Department of Energy’s Loan Programs Office, where she evaluated loans to innovative clean energy projects. Previously, Colleen attended Naval Nuclear Power School and served as a staff instructor at a U.S. Navy nuclear prototype and training plant. Colleen holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Yale University.
